DFS Welbeck Welfare Football Club – Youth Section – Season 2011/12 is with us …………..
In April 2011 the Club received sponsorship from DFS and the Football Club’s Management Committee is overwhelmed by the generosity of our sponsors. We look forward to working with DFS and their representatives.
Our Cub Colours for Season 2011/12 – Blue & White shirts, Blue shorts,Blue socks. Goalkeepers in orange.
We welcome you all to our Football Club’s website. For Season 2011/12 the Club will have 20  teams ranging from U/7′s to U/18′s boys, girls & and senior teams. The Club has now reached FA Charter Standard Community Club Status – having achieved level 1 of the award in 2000 and the second level (Dvelopment Club Status) was awarded in 2002.

WE HAVE RECENTLY BECOME PART OF THE ‘SHINE’ PROGRAMME WITHIN THE WARSOP/CHURCH VALE/MEDEN VALE FAMILY OF SCHOOLS. WE SHALL BE PROVIDING FOOTBALL COACHING EVERY WEEK AT EACH OF THREE LOCAL SCHOOLS . At present, along with the Miners’ Welfare and other community groups we are involved in the applications throiugh our Project Managers – Fundsport UK Ltd – for obtaining funding from the Football Foundation(which has recently been acquired) and other associated funders. This will be a community development involving the sports ground and facilities adjacent to the Miners Welfare and Welbeck Colliery at lkesley Road, Meden Vale. The Club is also seeking to attract funding from local businesses for the Project.
The Club is always looking to attract sponsorship for kits and playing/training equipment and if any individual or business would lik to support the Club please ring Graham Hall on 01623 843108.
We are currently looking to appoint a Commercial Manager and Club Development Officer. All interested candidates are invited to contact Graham Hall on the above number. Thse roles are absolutely vital to a developing Club which is proud to provide for the youth in the towns and vllages within the community of North Nottinghamshire.
Welbeck Welfare Football Club is always pleased to work with other Football Clubs in the area to provide the best for our youngsters and we are always prepared to listen to positive comments and ideas.
